Ian Harkins

Co-Artistic Director

Ian (He/His) is a Via Brooklyn Co-Founder and one of the Co-Artistic Directors. He grew up in London and in New York, and came to theatre and drama from studying them at Cornell University and RADA. His credits as an actor involve several film and television projects; selected credits include Elementary (CBS), Forever (ABC), Boardwalk Empire (HBO), Red Oaks (Amazon Studios), and The Knick (Cinemax). He can be seen next year in the HBO miniseries The Plot against America. His theatre credits include work Off-Broadway, regionally, and across the pond in his native London. He can also be seen and heard in a variety of commercials, podcasts, and videogames. As a director, he directed 3 productions in New York City, and has been nominated for Best Director at the Innovative Theatre Awards. In his role as a producer, he has found huge joy in putting on a wide variety of shows, which he has brought to the company since its founding. In his spare time, Ian enjoys overburdening himself with his two adorable rescue puppies, Biscuit & Crumpet.

Cori Hundt

Co-Artistic Director

Cori (She/Hers) is a Via Brooklyn Co-Founder, as well as currently serving as one of the Co-Artistic Directors. She is an actor, producer, and writer who has performed Off-Broadway (59E59, Atlantic Stage 2, Abingdon, Broadway Comedy Club), regionally in the US (International Shakespeare Center, 12 Miles West, Southampton Cultural Center), and in the UK (EdFringe, The Wallace Collection), as well as in numerous film (Viacom), TV (HBO, Biography Channel, NBC Peacock), commercials, and print work. Her writing has been featured in various outlets such as Backstage Magazine and StageAgent.com. She has also served as a producer on six different productions (59E59, EdFringe, FringeNYC, Wallace Collection, International Shakespeare Center, Southampton Cultural Center). Cori graduated from LAMDA with an M.A. in Classical Acting for the Professional Theatre, with merit, as well as from Middlebury College, magna cum laude, with a joint B.A. in Theatre/English and American Literatures. When not working, Cori enjoys finagling ways to travel to far off locations, having visited all 50 states and 7 continents.

Rafe Terrizzi

Co-Artistic Director

Rafe (He/His) is a Co-Founder and Co-Artistic director of Via Brooklyn. He has worked as an actor, producer, director, and sound designer in New York City for 20 years. Selected acting credits include: A Wilder Christmas (Peccadillo Theater), The 39 Steps (Via Brooklyn), Tales End (Hangar Theater), She Stoops To Conquer (Hudson Warehouse), As You Like It (Princeton Rep.), Henry IV, Pt. II (Shakespeare In Delaware Park), Flight Of Angels (Emelin Theater), and Candide (NYC Opera, directed by Hal Prince). He has appeared in the films “Howl”, “A Good Marriage”, and “Back To The Front”. He Studied acting at the William Esper Studio, Actors Movement Studio, and the Tom Todoroff Studio & Conservatory, where he also served as a producer. He would like to thank his cat, Charlie Copperpot, for reminding him to kick and back relax.

 

Jack Collard

Jack (He/His) is a highly versatile actor who trained at LAMDA. He’s worked across a wide variety of performance mediums, both domestically and internationally, including Film, Theatre, Performance/Motion Capture, Voice Over, Puppetry, Radio, and Virtual Reality. Recently he’s performed on stage in Monica (59E59, NYC/Edinburgh), Magpies and Mischief (Jersey Arts Centre), Mr. Poppers Penguins (Seattle Children’s Theatre), on camera in 'Belgravia' for Carnival Productions/ITV, as well as 'Loyalty' and 'An Encounter', voiced the Audiobook 'World War O' on Audible, and provided Performance and Motion Capture for ALIVE Studios, Birmingham and Aston University researchers. His credits also include Think of England (UK tour), Jane Eyre (Rosemary Branch), All That Lives (Ovalhouse Theatre), and Naked Not Nude (The Print Room). He has undertaken extensive Performance Capture training with the MOCAP Vaults under the tutorage of Oliver Hollis-Leick, John Dower, Arnold Palmer and Gareth Taylor. He is experienced working in various volumes and suits, from small 10 camera volumes, to the large Centroid stage at Pinewood, in both Optical Reflective and Inertial suits. In addition to this he is experienced in capturing data for; Full Performance Capture, Facial Capture, Body Capture, Working to Pre-recorded Audio, Improvisation, Direct to Camera/Player Address, Locomotion, and Motion Captured combat.

Danielle Joy

Artistic Associate

Danielle (She/Her) is an absolutely blessed individual who spends her time acting, producing, and traveling. Danielle had a banner year in 2019. She executive produced and acted in an upcoming New Media Series The Hunted: NYCSS, co-produced a site-specific production of Bare: A Pop Opera at St. John's Lutheran Church, and general managed & understudied in a production of Monica: This Play is Not About Monica Lewinsky which was brought to audiences at 59E59 in NYC, and the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Other select credits include: Plays: Proof (Shetler Studios, Catherine/Producer), Women In Motion (MRT, Monica/Producer), Badger Reunion (MRT, Monica/Producer), 24 Hour Plays (American Airlines Theater, Artist Relations); Film: A Doll's House (short, Danielle/Producer), Checking Out (New Media Series Pilot, Danielle/Producer). Danielle has a degree in business management from Binghamton University, and finds ways to adapt that degree for the arts on every project she works on. Danielle has traveled halfway around the world, and has worked from almost everywhere she has visited. An expert in time zone management, she considers herself extremely lucky and reminds herself every day not to take anything for granted. She will also happily pet your dog.
