Goyescas

Goyescas brings the paintings of the great Spanish master Francisco Goya to life. Inspired by 6 of Goya’s drawings, the 1-act opera sees 4 young lovers compete with each other in scenes of romance, competition, and violence. The music is some of the most recognizable in all of 20th century opera, and is widely regarded as the masterpiece of the great Spanish composer Enrique Granados.

Goyescas was performed at The Wallace Collection, in London, UK in Fall 2017.
