Via Brooklyn is thrilled to be partnering with the Chappaqua Performing Arts Center and the New Castle Recreation Department to offer theatre education programming for 4-month olds to 18-year olds on Tuesdays and Thursdays starting in September 2026. Our offerings at the Chappaqua Performing Arts Center in Chappaqua, NY include:

(Please note that all registration is done through the New Castle Recreation Department. For Caregiver + Me Theatre Classes you can either purchase a full trimester, or, individual drop-in classes. Theatre Classes

Caregiver + Me Classes: 4 months - 4 years

Caregiver + Me Theatre Class: 4-months to 1-year olds

Via Brooklyn is offering a caregiver-and-me theatre class for 4-month-olds to 1-year-olds this fall. Join us for a new 45-minute class each week that dives into Dierdre the Chappaqua Deer taking her friend Subway Rat with her on adventures around Westchester County. Every class integrates narrative storytelling, music, props, dress up, and sensory play to introduce the littlest thespians to the theatre and ignite their imagination. Feel free to add on a theatrical play space session after class, or, enjoy a coffee from the coffee + snack stand while experiencing the magic of theatre with your little one!

12-class trimester, 45-minutes long

- A trimester of Tuesday classes (9/22, 9/29, 10/6, 10/13, 10/20, 10/27, 11/10, 11/17, 11/24, 12/1, 12/8, 12/15)

In this class we explore basic theatre terminology, storytelling, movement, stage presence, character creation, and ensemble building, culminating in a showcase for family and friends on the final day of class. This is a safe and supportive environment for little thespians to learn, challenge themselves, and have fun!
