So What’s “Still…?!” All About?

Cori & Danielle of Via Brooklyn Theatre Co., both in their 30's, realize they are about to age-out of their lifelong dream of ever starring in a teenage rom com on the CW, so instead these elderly millennials have started a podcast about all the crap STILL going on in the entertainment industry for female-identifying artists. (Stay tuned for guests much more qualified than we are!)

Katy Ellis

Katy is an Actor, Singer, Violinist. Since graduating from Guildford School of in 2018, she has worked on a variety of projects from theatre to Radio to TV. Some recent credits include Wise Children’s ‘Wuthering Heights’ (UK and US Tours), ‘Temporal’ (a Story Punk podcast drama), Scamp Theatre’s ‘A Scarecrow’s Wedding’ (Leicester Square and UK tour), ‘Read the Room’ (BBC Radio 4) and ‘Daisy Pulls it Off’ (Charing Cross Theatre)

Cassandra Bodzak

Cassandra Bodzak is a thought leader, best-selling author and sought after on-camera personality and speaker in the mindfulness and personal development world. She is also the host of the popular spiritual podcast, "Divine Downloads". You may have seen Cassandra on ABC’s The Taste with Anthony Bourdain as the ‘happy, healthy living guru’ or in her work with SHAPE, Eating Well, Huffington Post, Teen Vogue, Thrive, Fabletics, Lululemon, SoulCycle and many more. She has been called “an award winning thought leader and intuitive coach” in Forbes and “a spiritual leader” by Well + Good. Shannon Harris


Shannon Harris is an award-winning NYC-based actor and independent filmmaker. She wrote, produced, directed, and played lead roles in short films “THREE birds” and “grist.” Her films won multiple awards as official selections at (combined, to date) over 20 (in-person, virtual, or hybrid) local, national, and international film festivals. Shannon founded her production company Tricoastal Productions, “TCP” for short, in January 2019 to produce her films. TCP’s broader mission is to amplify the voices and stories of underrepresented artists, starting with her own. Other screen credits include “The Blacklist,” “Ray Donovan,” “Marvel’s Luke Cage,” and “Happy!”. She holds a BA, English from Barnard College in NYC and an MA, Classical Acting (Distinction) from The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama in London. Kaitlyn Farley

Kaitlyn Farley is a NYC based Actor, Singer, Fight Choreographer and Producer. Canadian born and raised she attended conservatory programs both in Toronto and NYC. In 2019, she performed in the off-off broadway improv musical, Date Me, Do Me, Dump Me and has been in various productions and short films. As an Instructor, Choreographer and Producer with New York Combat for Stage & Screen, she’s worked throughout the city and beyond on various film & theatre projects. She is also a producer and founder of Fight The Good Fight Productions, where she was a creator, action star and an assistant fight director for their latest web-series The Hunted: NYCSS, out on the festival circuit now. When she’s not keeping busy, she alsoteaches piano and cuddles with her cat, Dobby.

Julia Izumi

Julia Izumi’s works include Regretfully, So the Birds Are (Playwrights Horizons/WP Theater), miku, and the gods. (ArtsWest), Sometimes the Rain, Sometimes the Sea (Rorschach Theatre), and others. Her work has been developed at MTC, Clubbed Thumb, New Georges, Berkeley Rep, SPACE on Ryder Farm, Oregon Shakespeare Festival, Ojai Playwrights Conference, and more. Honors for her work include the OPC Dr. Kerry English Award, O’Neill Finalist, and KCACTF’s Darrell Ayers Playwriting Award. She is a current New Dramatists Resident, LMCC Workspace Resident, and Civilians R&D Group Member. Current commissions at True Love Productions, MTC/Sloan, Playwrights Horizons, Seattle Rep. MFA: Brown University.

Anna Ryder

Anna is a freelance theatre director and is currently Deputy Director at Jermyn Street Theatre. She was previously an Associate Artist at Live Theatre, Newcastle where she recently directed Cheer Up Slug by Tamsin Daisy Rees. As a director, Anna has worked with the RSC, Paines Plough, Live Theatre, Northern Stage, Manchester Royal Exchange, New Writing North, Mountview, Rose Bruford, and Drama Centre, London. Alongside directing, Anna also works as a dramaturg, facilitator and script-reader.

Kathleen Choe


Born and raised in New York, Kathleen Choe holds an MFA in Acting from the New School for Drama. Favorite theater roles include: Belinda Blair in Noises Off at Two River Theater, Are You There, Truman? for The Pride Plays/Rattlestick Theater, and Avenue Q at the Arkansas Rep. Film and television work includes Law and Order: SVU recurring as defense attorney Julie Kang, Maniac, Quantico, Younger, Broad City, Mysteries of Laura, Forever, and Delivery Man. Kathleen was also a consulting producer for the indie feature Land of Gold, which was chosen to be the recipient of the 2022 AT&T Untold Stories grant. It premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival in June 2022 and is now streaming on HBO MAX. She also is the owner of the company Reels Right Now, which specializes in editing demo reels for actor, artists, and media personalities well as branding reels for organizations and companies. Kathleen is a steering committee member of the Asian American women-led non-profit Asian Women Giving Circle, and is a board member of both Revolution Shakespeare theater company and the bilingual Korean and English online series Woori Show. When off the acting/producing/writing clock, Kat can be found going through a set of Korean vocab flashcards, knitting, cooking, skating, snapping photos, in a library, or having a geekfest and laugh with a group of her nears and dears.

Jessica Giannone

Jessica Giannone is an actor, teaching artist, and NY Times Recommended baker (Pie Birds). She combines these activities by hosting Pie, Pint, & Play Readings in Brooklyn. Jessica received her BFA in Performing Arts and Vocal Performance from SCAD and her MFA at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School. While in the UK, she performed in Glasgow Citizens Theatre’s The Libertine, Bristol Old Vic’s The Winter’s Tale, and Jez Butterworth’s The River with Ted Lasso’s Phil Dunster. On return to the States, Jessica played Helena in A Midsummer Night's Dream at The Philadelphia Shakespeare Theater, nominated alongside Judi Dench for a Falstaff Award, Jen in the BroadwayWorld Award Winning The Cake by Bekah Brunstetter, and Mary in Via Brooklyn’s award-winning, NY Times Recommended film, Testament (Edinburgh Fringe/59E59). Jessica has performed and workshopped at Williamstown Theatre Festival and was part of the 1st Revival of the musical Marie Christine in NYC. She has also studied and performs Musical Improv at UCB and Magnet Theater. As aTeaching Artist, Jessica has taught for over 10 years working with Off-Broadway’s Classic Stage Company, Stages on the Sound including QSAC (Quality Services for the Autism Community), and Hudson Valley Shakespeare Festival. Sharing her love for the arts offstage when not onstage!

Dr. Bess Rowen

Dr. Bess Rowen is an Assistant Professor of Theatre and an affiliated faculty member of Gender & Women's Studies at Villanova University. She is a theorist, historian, and practitioner. Her work focuses on what she terms "affective stage directions," which are stage directions written in ways that engage the physical and emotional responses of future theatre makers. Her first book, The Lines Between the Lines: How Stage Directions Affect Embodiment, was published by University of Michigan Press in October 2021. Her next book project focuses on representations of teenage girls on stage. She holds a Ph.D. in Theatre & Performance from The Graduate Center, City University of New York, an M.A. in Performance Studies from New York University, and a B.A. in Theatre & English from Lehigh University. She also currently works as an Intimacy Choreographer and continues her training with Theatrical Intimacy Education.
