How do I register?

All registration is done through the New Castle Recreation Department. This does require quickly making an account if you do not already have one- but don’t worry it’s free!

Do you have drop-in classes?

Yes! For Caregiver + Me Theatre Classes and the Theatrical Play Space you can either purchase a full trimester, or, individual drop-in classes. Registration for drop-in classes is also done through the New Castle Recreation Department. Please choose the classes with the “Flexible Pricing” option listed next to them to choose drop-in classes. Please note, after-school program classes do not have drop-ins due to the structure of the class with a focus on ensemble building culminating in an end-of-trimester showcase.

Can I register for classes even if I don’t live in the town of New Castle?

Yes! Everyone is welcome at Via Brooklyn’s classes at the ChappPAC. Please note that pricing for trimester classes is 20% off for New Castle residents, as per the New Castle Recreation Department policy. Drop-in classes are the same price for everyone.

Is there free parking?

Yes! There is abundant free parking outside the ChappPAC, with accessible parking located right next to the theatre.

Is the Chappaqua Performing Arts Center and the education programming accessible?

Yes! The ChappPAC and all of our classes are accessible for those with mobility aids, except for select pieces of the play space equipment which could not accommodate mobility aids on top of the equipment (i.e. bounce house, slide, etc.).

Is the space family friendly?

Yes! A designated area for changing children and nursing is available. Please also feel free to feed your children milk or water in any of the spaces at the ChappPAC. (We just ask that solid foods and non-milk or water drinks not go on the stage itself to avoid sticky floors and crumbs in that location!) Additionally, the bathrooms have step stools and one stall each with a child friendly seat. We also have extra diapers, wipes, and feminine products available for free in case you ran out the door without what you need by accident- we get it!
